London Calling

Definitely our favourite weekend of the year is the Virgin Active London Triathlon. A chance for the whole team to get together (apart from Sam who was off racing Ironman Switzerland), do a bit of racing and to spend some quality time with several of our sponsors.

As always the team mixed some serious racing with a lot of smiles and managed to come away with first and second place in both the men’s and women’s Olympic Plus races thanks to Richard Hobson, Matt Molloy, Catherine Faux and Alison Rowatt as well as a win for Charlie Pennington in the sprint category.

In the months before the event we had signed up several new sponsors and the team spent a lot of time at the Skechers Performance Division stand at the expo discussing the merits of their various shoe models which the team are testing throughout 2013.

The team also helped out on both days at the Virgin Active stand, we certainly have been made to feel a part of their family over the past three years and love to get involved and to help people #getgoing by joining their gyms around the country.
