As headline sponsors of the London Triathlon, Virgin Active run several initiatives to get club members involved in the sport of triathlon.
They asked Team Freespeed if we could put together a training day for members using the incredible facilities at the Chiswick Riverside.
Team athletes Richard Hobson, Jenny Gowans, Matt Molloy and Stuart Anderson devised a program that included an outdoor swim squad, basic bike and transition skills and finished up with a question and answer session with a particular focus on the London Triathlon.
All participants felt the afternoon was very worthwhile and left the club much more confident in their ability to race well in the Docklands.
