At the start of the season the Team declared that our main focus in 2012 would be to qualify for, and race well at, the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii otherwise known as The Big Dance.
With one week to go four of the team are settled on the Big Island and getting ready for the big test next week. Sam Baxter, Stuart Anderson, Tim Bishop and Matt Molloy all have realistic hopes to do very well in their respective age groups. It is hard to predict how things will go on the day as the potential for stifling heat, oppressive humidity and ferocious winds can change a game plan in the space of a few minutes.
One thing is certain though, all four have trained hard, are in great shape and will give their absolute all out on the lava fields.
